Dramatic Coloratura Soprano

Nadiia Sheremetieva is recognized as one of Ukraine’s most distinguished dramatic coloratura sopranos, renowned for her exceptional vocal artistry, expressive musicality, and commanding stage presence. Her performances combine technical brilliance with emotional depth, earning her international acclaim.
Born in Ukraine, she began her vocal training at an early age and continues to develop her artistic career under the guidance of Prof. Javier Alonso at Dr. Hoch’s Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
A laureate of numerous international competitions, Sheremetieva was awarded First Prize at the YES Academy for American Broadway Competition (Oklahoma City, USA, 2006), First Prize at the VI. Vienna International Music Competition (Austria, 2025), First Prize at the 11th Swiss International Music Competition (Switzerland, 2025), and Third Prize at the London International Music Competition (United Kingdom, 2025). She was also honored at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels (Belgium, 2011).
Her operatic repertoire includes leading roles in the works of Verdi, Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Mozart, Bizet, and many others. She has excelled in major roles in Verdi’s operas as well as Puccini’s La Bohème.
As a concert artist, Sheremetieva has appeared on major international stages, including the Berlin Philharmonic, as well as in renowned venues in Poland, Austria, and Switzerland. Her international engagements have also brought her to the Al-Assad National Library in Damascus (Syria) and to prestigious concert halls in Tunisia, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Her concert repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary music. She has performed masterpieces such as Mozart’s Requiem, Verdi’s Requiem, and Bruckner’s Masses, captivating audiences with her radiant tone and profound interpretation.
In addition to her musical achievements, Sheremetieva made her film debut in 2010 in “Damascus with Love”, directed by Syrian filmmaker Mohamad Abdul Aziz.
